Respect India, in collaboration with PNB Housing Finance Limited, has successfully launched a transformative scholarship and mentorship initiative at Miranda House, University of Delhi, aimed at empowering women from economically weaker sections. Under this ₹1 crore CSR funded program, 186 deserving girl students have been awarded scholarships that will cover their academic fees for three consecutive years, enabling them to pursue higher education without financial burden. This initiative is not only a step toward inclusive education but also a celebration of academic excellence and future women leaders. The selected students have demonstrated exceptional promise and belong to families that otherwise face significant financial constraints in supporting higher education. To mark the occasion and orient the students, Respect India organized a dedicated orientation session, which included information on the scholarship program, career guidance, and leadership development. The session emphasized long-term personal and professional growth, with a special focus on encouraging these young women to become future change-makers. Respect India reaffirmed its vision to nurture academic potential among underprivileged youth, ensuring they are not left behind in the nation’s progress. This initiative reflects the organization’s commitment to building a more equitable future by investing in education, leadership, and dignity for all.
