Respect India’s Women Empowerment Initiative stands as a beacon of hope and strength for women across the country. Through focused programs, capacity-building workshops, mentorship, and advocacy, we aim to create a society where every woman — regardless of her background — can rise, lead, and live with dignity. Our efforts empower women to overcome barriers, access education and opportunities, and become catalysts for change in their families and communities.

As part of this vision, the Pride of the Nation Excellence Award, held annually around International Women’s Day, honours women who have broken ceilings and reshaped narratives in social, political, economic, and cultural arenas. More than a celebration, it is a statement — that when women rise, the nation rises with them.

General Question

It is a flagship effort dedicated to uplifting women through education, skill development, leadership training, mentorship, and advocacy. We strive to create a society where every woman, regardless of her background, has the opportunity to lead a dignified and empowered life.
We conduct capacity-building workshops, entrepreneurship programs, health awareness sessions, legal literacy campaigns, and leadership mentorships, enabling women to break barriers and become change-makers in their families and communities.
It is an annual award ceremony hosted by Respect India around International Women’s Day to honour women who have made exceptional contributions in social, political, economic, or cultural domains. It celebrates courage, leadership, and societal impact.
Women and girls from underprivileged backgrounds, marginalized communities, and anyone facing systemic or social barriers are welcome to participate in our programs. We also work with women-led groups and local changemakers.
